What is Facial Skin
Rejuvenation?
Facial skin rejuvenation is an attempt to reverse or
slow down the effects of natural ageing on the facial
skin. Although the effects of aging like lines,
wrinkles, age spots, broken blood vessels, dull skin
texture and color, and slackness in skin, cannot be
completely reversed, yet these can be partially reversed
by myriad of procedures available today.
Are Anti-ageing creams
available in the market useful?
Anti aging creams can be used to treat milder symptoms
of aging and they can improve mild lines and wrinkles.
Many of them contain sun protection elements, hence
provide protection from the harmful effects of sunrays.
What are chemical
peels and how are they useful in facial skin
rejuvenation?
Chemical peels are useful for treatment of wrinkles,
slackness of skin as well as for dull skin texture and
mild acne scars. In this a Chemical is applied on to the
skin in a controlled manner to remove the outer layers
of aged skin.
Is sun protection necessary after the peel?
Sun screens are advisable after the procedure .
What are the injection

BOTOX and Fillers are most commonly used procedure
today. In Botox, an injection of very tiny amounts of of
a purified protein is injected. To treat and improve
lines, wrinkles and furrows associated with facial
expression. The duration of this improvement varies from
3-4 months.
What is Dermabrasion and can
Chicken pox and Acne Scars be treated thorough this
technique?
Dermabrasion use tiny particles that passed through the
skin, gently exfoliate the aging skin and stimulate new
cell growth. Because of the nature of this technique,
patients with mild acne scars or chicken pox scars are
best treated via this technique.
